YOUR EVERYDAY MEMORY
logo game
You know the shape. How well do you remember the shade?
Three brands. Three chances to get close.
Familiar shapes, uncertain shades
How much of a brand do you remember?
One part of a real brand mark arrives in a different color. Bring its signature shade back with three sliders.
Choose your deck
Start with familiar names, explore technology and consumer brands, or try the entire library.
Find the changed part
A dotted outline identifies the part you are adjusting. The other colors stay in place.
Restore the shade
Move hue, saturation and brightness until the logo looks familiar. Submit to see its recorded screen color.
Compare all three
Each logo scores up to ten. Finish three, share the round and try another set.
A few things to know
How does the logo color game work?
Choose a deck and restore the changed color in three brand marks. The changed part is outlined. When you submit, your version and the recorded original appear together with a score from zero to ten.
Does the whole logo change color?
Only the selected part changes. Multi-color marks preserve their other parts. A single-color icon has one part, so its complete symbol changes while its shape stays intact.
Where do the icons and colors come from?
The checked-in library is built from a pinned Simple Icons release, which includes the source of every icon and its recorded brand color. A small set of multi-part marks is constructed from vector primitives with brand source links. The quiz uses screen colors, which can differ from printed packaging.
What do the decks mean?
Famous and Consumer are curated selections; Big tech and Startups cover software and technology brands. Fortune 500 is a curated 2025 selection. YC and a16z include current or former portfolio brands, with membership source links retained in the data. Everything includes the full library.
How are points calculated?
The game uses the same CIEDE2000 perceptual color difference as Color Game. An exact match scores ten. Three logos make a round out of thirty, and each deck keeps its own best and average.
Will a logo repeat immediately?
The game remembers the last 120 logos dealt. Fresh logos are used whenever three are available; smaller decks work through the remaining fresh marks before bringing older ones back. Multi-color marks can ask you about different parts on different visits.
Can I play without signing up?
Yes. Everything runs in your browser, with records and preferences stored on your device. No account, server grading or daily wait is required.
Are these companies involved in the game?
Brand marks identify their respective owners in an independent memory quiz. Their appearance does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement. Each asset retains its source and applicable license information.
